A Supportive, Safe Environment for Writers.

Professional teacher and writing coach Trevor Martens has teamed up with photographer and videographer Nicole Wruth to offer a full-day workshop for writers who are ready to deepen their craft.

This immersive experience will include guided writing exercises, storytelling techniques, feedback and discussion, time to practice and apply what you’ve learnt, great food, and a warm circle of creatives to share your story with. It all takes place at Studio Nicole, one of Brandon’s most inspiring creative spaces!

Workshop:

Lunch Break

12:00 – 2:00 PM
Play with Words:
Participants write at their own pace, implementing what they've learnt. They can also use this time to go for a walk if they need to move, think, and write outside.

2:00 – 4:00 PM
Feedback & Discussion:
Writers share what they've created and receive thoughtful, specific feedback designed to highlight what’s working and where the writing can grow.
Light snacks will be served.
